Millwall have enjoyed a stellar campaign since the appointment of Gary Rowett at the Den.

The Lions currently sit in eighth spot in the Championship table and have a genuine chance of securing a play-off spot as they sit just two points adrift of sixth placed Preston North End.

Rowett has revitalised the club and a number of players have stepped up to really push Millwall higher up the league table, with Jed Wallace undoubtedly one of their standout stars in this campaign.

Back in January, Rowett utilised his connections with his former club Stoke City to snap up central midfielder Ryan Woods.

The 26-year-old was struggling for game-time at the Bet365 Stadium and he joined up with the Lions until then end of the season.

And since arriving, Woods has become an influential cog in Millwall's midfield, making 10 appearances for the club.

With it being a loan deal, he is set to return to Stoke upon the conclusion of the 2019/20 season, but that has not stopped many Millwall fans urging the club to re-sign the English midfielder on a permanent deal.

Woods has been the centre of debate on Millwall fan Twitter account, Millwall HQ, after they asked the following: 'Should re-signing Ryan Woods on a permanent deal be one of Millwall's top transfer priorities this summer?'

Millwall fans flocked to the tweet with the majority admitting they would have no qualms in the club launching a permanent move for the player, as you can clearly see in these responses....
