West Brom kept alive their outside chances of automatic promotion with a 3-2 win over Birmingham at The Hawthorns last night.

That result leaves the Baggies four points behind second place ahead of today's games and makes it three wins from three under caretaker boss James Shan.

Whilst it was a positive night on the whole, Albion were really struggling at half-time as they trailed to Blues and looked short of ideas.

However, Shan replaced James Morrison with Hal Robson-Kanu and the former Wales international made a huge impact.

As well as that, he held the ball up well and linked play effectively as Albion took control of the game for large spells.
