Macauley Bonne sends Ipswich Town message as loan comes to an end

Published

on

Macauley Bonne has taken to Instagram to thank Ipswich Town and their fans for taking him on loan during the 21/22 season, with his time at the club now coming to an end.

The striker had a good season with Town as he found his shooting boots after a tough period at Queens Park Rangers.

Indeed, it was a reminder of the talent that he is and the ability he has in front of goal, and it’ll be interesting to see if that paves a way for him to be playing more at QPR next season.

Certainly, Ipswich fans and the club’s players would probably like him back again next year in some capacity or another, and you’d imagine Bonne would be open to that too given that it is a club that is so close to his heart.

For now, though, they are parting ways and Bonne has taken to Instagram to reflect on that:

The Verdict

Ipswich are a good side with talented players and they will hope that next season they can put up a firm challenge for promotion after falling short this year.

The second half of the campaign offered promise of better times ahead, though, and Bonne also played his part in that feeling.

Time will tell what the future holds for him, then, but you’d certainly not be shocked if he was at Portman Road again next year.
