Remi Garde has become the latest high profile name to be linked with the Brighton vacancy as the club step up their pursuit of their next manager.
The Daily Mail are reporting that the much sought after Frenchman has joined Tim Sherwood and Chris Houghton on the shortlist to move to the Championship club next season.
The former Arsenal player has spent the last three years at Ligue One side Lyon and is thought to be a serious contender to take control of the club next year.
Whether the popular manager will be willing to swap France for the South of England remains to be seen with ex-Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood currently the bookmakers favorite for the job.
Another name linked with the vacancy is Phil Neville who could make his first venture into management with the South Coast club.
Brighton lost to Derby in the play-offs last month after which coach Oscar Garcia offered his resignation.
