Queens Park Rangers have spent several years looking to sign a talismanic striker who can lead them to glory.

Thankfully for supporters it seems that they may have their man.

The Hoops completed a deal to sign Lyndon Dykes from Livingston for an undisclosed fee in August, and the frontman has rarely looked back after establishing himself as a key player under Mark Warburton.

Here we take a look at how he has fared since moving to West London.

How's it gone so far?

Lyndon Dykes' career with Queens Park Rangers could hardly have gone better so far.

The Scotland international has established himself as a key man under Mark Warburton and had started each of the nine Championship fixtures that he's been available for so far.

Having scored three goals in that time as well, I think that supporters will be fairly pleased with how he's settled in.

What issues does he face?

The main issue facing Lyndon Dykes is competition for places.

While scoring three goals in nine games sounds like a decent return so far, this includes a run of just one goal in seven since the opening two games of the season.

That said, Dykes did breaking his dry spell with a goal before the international break, and so he'll be hoping to add to that in the coming weeks to ensure that his place in the side isn't at risk.

What next?

It seems that Lyndon Dykes is in a really good place with Queens Park Rangers.

To score three goals in his first nine games in the Championship is a decent return, and given that this will have been an eye-opening period for him the hope is that he will kick on from here.

Dykes is QPR's main man and with some real attacking talent around him in the team the hope now is that he can really push on and prove himself as one of the most consistent marksmen in the division.
