Charlton striker Lyle Taylor has issued a cryptic message as he edges closer to his long-awaited return from a knee injury which has kept him out of action since late August.
Taylor was in excellent form at the start of the season as he netted five goals in his first six Championship matches, but he has now missed Charlton's last 13 games after picking up an injury while on international duty in early September.
The 29-year-old is one of a large number of Charlton players currently out of action with injury, but Bowyer has now told South London Press that Taylor is set to travel with the squad for their trip to face Middlesbrough next weekend.
The Addicks have seen results suffer due to their significant injury crisis, but they will be hoping that Taylor's return can help signal an upturn in form, with Bowyer's side now without a victory in their last seven outings.

Taylor has been a prolific presence in front of goal since arriving at The Valley from AFC Wimbledon in the summer of 2018, with this seeing him net 30 goals in 51 appearances for the South London outfit.

It only takes one glance at Charlton's recent results to detect the fact they have sorely missed Taylor's goalscoring presence, even though Macauley Bonne has done his best to step up in the star man's absence with his six goals.
The Addicks now desperately need a boost give their results have badly suffered as a direct effect of their injury woes, and Taylor is capable of providing this with his killer instinct in front of goal, in addition to his leadership qualities.
