Brown will be more hopeful of making the grade at Chelsea now that Frank Lampard has taken over as manager, with the former Derby County boss gifting several young players game time with the first team this season, meaning that Brown will be keen to impress his manager whilst on loan in the Championship.

Consistency will be key for a player who has had several loan spells at this level, with Luton being a club in which he can really stand out and catch the attention of potential suitors and his parent club.

With the attacking midfielder already having over 150 career appearances to his name, he certainly brings good experience to the side, whilst his creative output speaks for itself.

If he can continue to add goals to his game, there is no reason why Lampard won't be willing to at least give him a chance to impress for Chelsea next term, as the youngster looks to finally find a club he can stick with for more than a season.

Meanwhile Luton will be looking to pick up another three points this weekend when they travel to Griffin Park to face Brentford.
