Luton Town unveil Nathan Jones as new manager

Luton Town’s search for a new manager has ended with Nathan Jones being named as manager for the mid-table League Two side.

Nathan Jones joins the Hatters immediately from Championship team Brighton where he was first team coach, he had a brief spell as the Interim manager in 2014.

Jones has been instrumental in Brighton going 21 games unbeaten this season and Luton are hoping he can bring his experience to the League Two side, who have had a disastrous league campaign so far.

Luton are 15th in the table and still have time to make a challenge for promotion this season, as they are just nine points from the play-off pack.

Jones takes charge of his first game on the 16th of January at home to Cambridge United and will be hoping to hit the ground running, and get the maximum points as he has just over a week to work with the Luton squad.
