Luton Town captain Ronnie Henry will leave the Hatters, BBC reports.
The club’s managing director confirmed for BBC Three Counties Radio that defender has rejected a new contract offer and will be leaving after two years. 30-year-old joined Luton from Stevenage and went on to make 87 appearances.
His teammates Andre Gray and Mark Cullen have posted messages on Twitter saying they are ‘gutted’ to see him leave.
“Gutted our skipper ronnies gone massive for me since hes been here with me! Massive for us aswell! Real leader n captain! Good luck bro xx. Probably wouldnt of got to tha 30 goal mark without you skip!! Cant thank you enough,” tweeted Gray.
Cullen added: “Gutted to see Ronnie leave. He’s a top man and wish him best for the future!”
