Luton striker sad to leave club

Former Luton Town striker Andre Gray said it was emotional leaving the club last month.
The 23-year-old moved to newly promoted side Brentford for a fee of £500,000, ending a 2 year stint at the club.
Speaking to the News/Gazette, Gray said: “It was an emotional time. I spoke to Luton and they said we’ve regrettably accepted it, and I was saying ‘I want to do it’.
“But when it actually came along, it was a sad day and quite difficult to accept I was going to leave, there were mixed emotions.”
Gray won the golden boot last season scoring 30 league goals as Luton won the Skrill Premier title. He has scored 57 goals in 111 appearances for The Hatters.
