According to Klix, Luton Town are interested in signing Bosnia and Herzegovina winger Izet Hajrovic from Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb.

It would be a much needed addition for the Hatters who are struggling for any real quality in their attacking play which could lead to them returning to League One come the end of the campaign.

Hajrovic is a senior international for the Bosnia side where he plays alongside stars such as Miralem Pjanic and Eden Dzeko.

The 28-year-old was a regular in the Dinamo Zagreb side last season, but in the current campaign has found it hard to make appearances. He did feature against Manchester City in the Champions League though, which shows the type of experience that he has under his belt.

Graeme Jones will be desperate for reinforcements to come in and give the side a lift otherwise it will be another struggle throughout the second-half of the campaign. Hajrovic could provide more quality in the attacking areas, and with Izzy Brown soon to return from injury, there may be enough creativity to allow Luton to score more goals.

The Verdict

The Hatters have had a torrid time of late in the league, and after what was a relatively good start to the campaign they've massively dropped off and it looks like they will be deep in a relegation battle.

Luton have a serious problem in terms of their away record and they find it really difficult to score away from home let alone win away from home.

They've been thrashed several times, and need a bit more quality in the attacking areas to pose a serious threat to the opposition, Hajrovic definitely could be a player that could help them provide something different.
