Luton make move for 6ft 3in Premier League man

Luton Town are currently nine points clear at the top of League Two and looking set for promotion.

Being down to 10 men didn’t stop them getting the win at Grimsby on Saturday afternoon. Jordan Cook got a first half red card but James Collins netted in the second half to secure all the points.

That result shows how good things are for the club right now and they are set to get even better with the signing of a player from a Premier League club on the horizon, as per journalist Alan Nixon.

The man in question is Liverpool’s Lloyd Jones, who is yet to make a first-team appearance at Anfield, but has had various loan spells further down the league system.

The Verdict

Nixon seems confident that the deal will get done and Luton are playing so well right now that they are an attractive proposition for any young player right now.

Luton fans – what do you make of the potential signing of Jones? Let us know in the comments below…
