Much of Luton Town's best play this term has stemmed through the creative exploits that are outputted by 22-year-old attacking midfielder Izzy Brown, with the Chelsea loanee having been in fine form for the Kenilworth Road outfit.

Brown arrived at the Championship club this summer with a point to prove to his parent club's manager and thus far the playmaker has gone some way towards delivering on that, by netting one goal and racking up six assists in his first 14 league outings.

Luton Town fans will have no doubt been impressed by the former Leeds United man, with much of their side's best performances coming thanks to the 22-year-old's influence in the final third.

And the Kenilworth Road faithful will surely be feeling optimistic about Brown's future, after the midfielder stated to Luton Today that he was not thinking about his return to Chelsea at the end of the campaign and that his full focus was on maintaining Luton's second division status.

Whether this means Brown could be open to extending his stay to beyond this season at the Bedfordshire based club remains to be seen, but the supporters will be pleased to hear how focused Brown is on the task in hand, as this attitude is sure to rub off on other members of the squad.

Ultimately Brown will be thinking that if he continues to impress on loan, his chances of breaking through at Chelsea will greatly increase, however, it is clear that the 22-year-old feels comfortable in his current environment, and we could well see the playmaker extend his stay with the Hatters.

Meanwhile Luton supporters will have their attentions firmly set on this weekend, as the Hatters travel to west London to take on an in-form Brentford side at Griffin Park.
