Football may be paused at the moment, but that doesn't stop people reflecting on moments gone by this season.

Leeds United's Luke Ayling has been reminiscing over his sensational goal that put the Whites 1-0 up against Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield at Elland Road in early March.

After some very neat and tidy play from the likes of Stuart Dallas and Pablo Hernandez, Jack Harrison popped up on the left-hand side of the pitch and whipped in a ball for the on-rushing Luke Ayling who smashed home a superb volley to send Elland Road into delierium.

The former Bristol City defender has gone on to ask via his personal Instagram page, 'when is the goal of the month being announced then....'.

Ayling, clearly in a confident mood of picking up recognition for his goal, has picked up four goals this season for Bielsa's side, an impressive feat for a right-back.

Leeds currently sit top of the Sky Bet Championship table having amassed 71 points from 37 league games this season - they sit one point ahead of second placed West Brom.

Leeds fans.... Do you think Ayling's goal is worthy of winning the March goal of the month in the Championship? Vote below!
