Queens Park Rangers midfielder Luke Amos has taken to Twitter to share a message following the club’s clash with Huddersfield Town.
Amos secured all three points for his side in this particular fixture by netting his first goal of the season at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
Brought on as a substitute by manager Mark Warburton in the second-half, the midfielder made an instant impact for the Hoops as he headed home from Chris Willock’s cross.
Huddersfield were unable to respond to this setback during the closing stages of the match as QPR sealed their sixth home league win of the season.
As a result of this triumph, the Hoops moved up to fourth in the Championship standings and are now only nine points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
Set to face Derby County on Monday, it will be intriguing to see whether Warburton opts to hand Amos a start in this fixture following the midfielder’s impressive cameo display against Huddersfield.
Since making his return from injury in September, the midfielder has been used predominantly as a substitute by the QPR boss.
Reflecting on his side’s latest victory on Twitter, Amos has admitted that it was a great feeling to score a crucial goal for the Hoops.

Amos will be determined to build upon this display in the coming weeks as QPR look to continue to push on in the Championship.
As well as netting the winning goal for the Hoops on Wednesday, Amos managed to complete nine passes and make one interception as he recorded a WhoScored match rating of 7.12.
Whereas the midfielder will need to deliver the goods on a consistent basis at this level if he is to establish himself as a mainstay in QPR’s starting eleven, there is no reason why he cannot achieve this particular goal.
Warburton is likely to call upon the services of Amos over the Christmas period as he will need to freshen up his options in central-midfield as his side are set to play a host of games.
