Jos Luhukay has confirmed that Sheffield Wednesday will welcome back Liam Palmer and Almen Abdi for this week’s clash with Swansea City in the FA Cup.
The Owls face Swansea and Carlos Carvalhal in the FA Cup on Tuesday evening, with Luhukay’s side heading to Wales to take on the Premier League outfit in a fifth-round replay.
Swansea and Sheffield Wednesday played out a goalless draw in the original tie, with the Owls looking to progress to face either Tottenham Hotspur or Rochdale, who themselves will play in a replay.
Ahead of the clash in Swansea tomorrow evening, Luhukay has confirmed to @swfc that Palmer and Abdi will be available for the Owls.
????JL: Liam Palmer is back available and we also see Almen Abdi as fit and one of the players we have as an option for this game #swfcLIVE

Palmer has missed the last two Championship fixtures through injury, as well as the fifth-round clash with Swansea.
The 26-year-old full-back will return along with Abdi, who has missed large parts of the season through injuries.
Abdi has been limited to just five appearances so far this season, with the midfielder’s last contribution coming against Brentford in December’s 2-0 defeat.
Luhukay has been faced with plenty of injury problems during his time in South Yorkshire, and although there are still high numbers on the sidelines, it is encouraging to see Palmer and Abdi return.
The FA Cup has given the Owls something to take their mind away from their struggles in the Championship, and Luhukay will be wanting to progress against Swansea tomorrow evening.
Abdi’s role might come from the bench, however, Palmer could be drafted in to give Jack Hunt a well earned rest this week.
