Walsall's Erhun Oztumer is undoubtedly one of Sky Bet League One's most talented players.

The attacking midfielder is the heartbeat of the Saddlers' team, and his hat-trick against Southend on Saturday was further proof of how influential the Turkish attacker is.

Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are struggling to score goals and create chances, mainly down to the vast amount of injuries that they have attained over the last few months.

However that said, Oztumer is a player that could definitely ply his trade at a higher level, and Hillsborough could be the perfect destination for him.

Should Luhukay make a move for him in the summer? Or steer clear?

We discuss....

George Dagless

Luhukay must look to sign him.

The Walsall man is too good for League One with all due respect and will surely court attention this summer.

Wednesday need someone like him to reignite their attack and so I'd say they should do all they can.

Gary Hutchinson

Sheffield Wednesday should be looking to make a move for any player that makes them stronger, especially if they're serious about finally winning back their Premier League spot.

Otzumer has certainly paid his dues in the lower leagues and looks prime for a step up to the second tier.

He would be worth a punt, but I would hope that any side bringing him in wouldn't pin all their hopes on him.

Alfie Burns

Not for me.

Admittedly, Wednesday have lacked this kind of creative spark this season, but with Fernando Forestieri edging closer to a first-team return, Oztumer wouldn’t be needed.

If he was to make the move to Hillsborough, Oztumer would spend some serious time warming the bench, despite his quality.

Chris Gallagher

It's a tough one.

I have no doubt that the talented attacking midfielder is ready for the Championship but Wednesday may not need him.

Fernando Forestieri is due back from injury soon and would occupy a similar role to the Walsall man and is a better player, whilst they will get creativity from midfield through Barry Bannan too.

He'd be a good signing for the squad but not a priority this summer.
