Sheffield Wednesday are unbeaten since Steve Bruce's appointment at the start of February with a run of five wins and five draws from the 10 matches played, that has pushed the Owls to the cusp of the play-off's now only two points off sixth placed Aston Villa.

Bruce faces five matches against sides currently above the Owls in the table over the run-in, so a push for a play-off spot is on the cards if their current form can be maintained.

So what has Bruce done to turn around Wednesday's fortunes?

We discuss......

Gary Hutchinson

“Picked their best players maybe?

“Motivated a decent bunch of players?

“Kieren Westwood was in the reserves for heaven’s sake.

“Luhukay didn’t have a clue.”

Jacob Potter

"He’s given the players belief.

"The ability was always there in the Sheffield Wednesday squad, they just needed a manager to get the best out of them.

"I fancy their chances of reaching the top six with Bruce in charge of the Owls."

Jay Taylor

“Gone back to basics.

“There success has been built on rigidity at the back and stopping the team conceding before moving forward to look to score more goals.

“You can see that in their results scoring once in Bruce’s first three to going on to finding the back of the net on a regular basis.”
