The feel-good factor at Sheffield Wednesday seems to be coming back to the club since Jos Luhukay's departure, and supporters will be hoping their side can kick-on up the table.

One man who looks like he is destined to play a starring role for Bruce's side this season in Lucas Joao, who already has nine league goals to his name.

But the in-form forward has hilariously mocked team-mate, Fernando Forestieri's choice of socks on his Instagram account.

Both Joao and Forestieri are going to be crucial in firing the Owls up the table, and they'll be hoping to make it three successive wins when they take on Reading this weekend.

A win could potentially see Sheffield Wednesday move to within six points off the play-offs and they could certainly be one of the teams to keep an eye on heading into the second-half of the season.

Forestieri has recently returned from a lengthy injury lay-off and will be keen to make up for lost time and make a notable contribution to helping aid their bid to move up the Championship table.

Steve Bruce will be hoping to make it two wins out of two at the weekend, but it won't be an easy task, with Reading looking like a tough team to beat under newly appointed boss, Jose Gomes.

So, what are your thoughts on Forestieri's somewhat interesting choice of socks?

The Verdict:

I never thought I'd be issuing a verdict on this!

It's a shocking choice of socks by the Italian, and I'm fully in agreement with Joao on this one!

It's great to see the feel-good factor seemingly being restored at Sheffield Wednesday and I think that they can fire themselves up the table quickly if they put a few wins together.
