‘Loves to get involved’ – Plenty of Leeds fans share thoughts on high-profile appointment ahead of Reading clash

Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping his side can pick up another three points tomorrow evening when Leeds United host Reading under the floodlights at Elland Road.

Leeds are going well in the Championship and picked up a victory against Bristol City on Saturday, helping them start well following November’s international break.

Tomorrow’s clash with Reading will be officiated by Mike Dean, with the Premier League referee stepping down into the Championship for the first time this season.

The last time Dean refereed a Leeds game was back in January, when he sent-off Samu Saiz for spitting.

Reading’s visit also has another edge that the official will be aware of, with Leeds’ last penalty coming against Reading at Elland Road, well over 12 months ago now.

As expected, Dean’s appointment as match referee has received plenty of reaction, with supporters sharing thoughts with each other across Twitter.

Here is a look at the best of that reaction…
