But today was a day for the Elland Road faithful to look backwards rather than forwards to a potential Premier League return as they celebrated the birthday of a club legend.

Paul Robinson made over 100 appearances for Leeds during his time at the club, turning out for them during two Champions League campaigns.

The most iconic moment recalled by many fans was his famous last minute equaliser at Elland Road against Swindon Town, finishing like a striker.
