Luciano Becchio was a firm favourite on the Leeds United terraces, with the Argentine forward’s name still sung loudly around Elland Road.

Leeds was Becchio’s home between 2008 and 2013, with the striker helping the Whites win promotion back to the Championship in 2010 and playing a big part in the club establishing themselves back in the second-tier.

Today, Leeds take on Middlesbrough at Elland Road, with the fixture one that Becchio would often stand up and be counted in.

He scored goals at the Riverside Stadium during his spell with Leeds, as well as some classy efforts at Elland Road when the Teessiders visited.

@LUFC have shared footage from one particular effort in December 2012, when Becchio was the difference in a 2-1 victory.

His first goal on that day was a stunning effort on the turn, which set Leeds up for a comeback win.

That footage, as Becchio often does, has sparked a reaction on Twitter.
