Lots of Derby fans have flooded their club's Twitter page with birthday wishes for Frank Lampard and have urged him to stay at Pride Park.

The club's Twitter account tweeted a picture of Lampard and wrote "Happy birthday, boss!".

Replies came in from a variety of fans, with many mocking the fact he could well be off to Chelsea very soon and others begging the manager to stay with the Rams.

Frank Lampard's uncle, Harry Redknapp, said that the former Chelsea player's potential move to Chelsea was 'likely to happen' to the BBC.

"If Chelsea come calling, it's a difficult one for him to turn down," Redknapp told BBC Radio 5 Live.

"In my personal opinion, he'll be the manager of Chelsea.

"It looks to me like it's going to happen."

"It's a no-lose situation unless he finishes outside the top six. Anything in the top six would be ok, but the Champions League would be a good seasom.

"No one is expecting him to finish first or second, third maybe. If he makes the Champions League next year, he's going to be a success.

"It may not come along again, you never know in football, the opportunity is there for him to go back now.

"He has a house around the corner from the training ground, his wife works in London."

Derby fans will be hoping that his uncle is ill-informed and have not given up hope by the looks of the tweets responding to the birthday wishes.

Other fans weren't so supportive, and responded with tweets joking about his departure from the club.
