Nottingham Forest have confirmed that Brennan Johnson has committed his long-term future to the club.

The youngster has hardly looked out of place when he has featured for Sabri Lamouchi's first-team this season, and he'll be keen to build on some impressive showings for the Reds.

Johnson has made three appearances in total for the senior team, and will fancy his chances of featuring for Forest when they are next in action against Arsenal in the EFL Cup on Tuesday.

The midfielder has also made an impact on the international stage, as he scored the winner for Wales' under 21's side against Belgium recently.

Johnson will be hoping that he can build on these strong performances as the season progresses, as Forest challenge for a long-awaited return back into the top-flight of English football.

It's safe to say that plenty of Nottingham Forest fans were delighted to see Johnson extend his stay at the City Ground.
