Stoke City forward Tyrese Campbell has taken to Twitter to post images of him working hard in the gym ahead of pre-season, which has drawn an excited response from many Potters fans.
The 21-year-old made a blistering start to last season – scoring seven times and adding seven assists in the first 18 games – but a knee injury in December ruled him out for the rest of the campaign.
Campbell had established himself as one of the most exciting young forwards in the Championship the year before, adding nine goals and two assists after breaking into the Potters first team.
Stoke will hope to have him back when they get their 2021/22 campaign underway in around seven weeks’ time and it seems Campbell is working hard to ensure that can happen.

The forward has been linked with a move away from the Bet365 Stadium in the past, with the likes of Celtic, Rangers, Wolves, and Burnley all touted with an interest, and Michael O’Neill has outlined previously how close Campbell was to leaving when he took charge.
It seems for the time being, however, his full focus is on getting back fully fit and returning to action for Stoke.
