Nottingham Forest's play-off push is back on track, after easing past Hull City by three goals to nil at the weekend.

Martin O'Neill's men had suffered yet another blow in their hopes of launching an assault on the top six, after losing to Stoke City by two goals to nil at the bet365 Stadium last week - but the Reds were back to their best in front of their home crowd once again, and responded in emphatic fashion on Saturday afternoon.

After a tight opening 45 minutes at the City Ground, two substitutions turned the game on it's head, with goals from Joao Carvalho and Karim Ansarifard putting the Reds into a 2-0 lead.

Joe Lolley then converted from the spot, which secured a massive three points for Forest - a win that delighted everyone inside the City Ground bar the travelling Hull fans.

There was an added edge to the atmosphere at the City Ground, with chairman Evangelos Marinikas present to watch the Reds for the first time since taking over in May 2017, and a fan captured his emotions once Lolley confirmed the win.
