Sunderland return to action on Saturday, when they take on play-off chasing rivals Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium.

The Black Cats have shown real improvement in recent months, which has seen them move into promotion contention in the League One table.

Phil Parkinson's side are currently sat fifth in the third-tier standings, and have won their last two games, after beating both Ipswich Town and Rochdale respectively.

It certainly won't be an easy game for Sunderland though, with Oxford looking to get their play-off bid back on track this season, after a run of just one win in their last eight matches.

Parkinson has named his starting XI ahead of the game against Oxford United, and the Sunderland boss has opted to keep his side unchanged from the win over Rochdale.

Plenty of Sunderland supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on the team announcement for the game at the Kassam Stadium.
