Loads of Portsmouth fans have reacted club director Eric Eisner after the American sent a message following the club’s impressive midweek win away to Lincoln City.

After a slow start Pompey took the lead right on the stroke of half-time when Ronan Curtis belted home a delicious free-kick in injury time – what turned out to be the final kick of the half.

Tom Hopper and Conor Coventry both had opportunities to level in the second half, but neither could convert their respective opportunities.

And with three minutes remaining, Kenny Jackett’s men made the points safe. January signing Steve Seddon was fouled in the box, with Marquis stepping up to make no mistake.

Following the final whistle Eisner took to Twitter to praise his side’s performance and also to express his excitement for their clash with Sunderland at Fratton Park on Saturday.

The fans seemed to share his energy and here are the best of their responses…
