‘Love it’, ‘Christ’ – These Middlesbrough fans react as Warnock makes changes for Coventry City clash

Middlesbrough will look to extend their unbeaten run when they welcome Coventry City to the Riverside tonight.

A 1-1 draw at Cardiff City last time out means Boro haven’t suffered a defeat since the opening day but they have drawn four of those six fixtures.

So, the challenge is to start picking up wins on a consistent basis and they will see tonight’s game as the ideal opportunity to do just that.

Despite the decent result in Wales, Neil Warnock has made three changes for tonight’s game and it appears that he has gone with a more attacking line up.

The most notable decisions saw the experienced boss give Patrick Roberts a start, with Britt Assombalonga leading the line.

Whilst the XI pleased the fans on the whole, some were worried as to why Chuba Akpom is not in the squad, prompting fears he may have picked up a knock. Another worry was the lack of a left-back, with Marcus Tavernier starting in the wing-back role against the Sky Blues.

Here we look at some of the comments from the fans on Twitter…
