Many West Brom supporters have been reacting to the latest update that the Baggies are set to miss out on securing a move for Dinamo Zagreb forward Mislav Orsic, according to Birmingham Live.

Slaven Bilic has been aiming to add to his attacking options throughout the transfer window, with the Baggies having already secured Grady Diangana’s loan spell from West Ham for the second half of the campaign, and also having brought Callum Robinson in on loan from Sheffield United.

West Brom could be in need of adding a further attacking option to their squad before the window closes, with injury problems to Diangana over the last few weeks highlighting that the Baggies lack the sort of quality possessed by their main attacking players when they are not starting.

Can you name these 13 West Brom January signings?

The Baggies have been linked with a potential move for Orsic throughout the transfer window, with the 27-year-old having been in fine form for Dinamo Zagreb in both the Croatian top-flight and the Champions League so far this campaign.

However, West Brom could now have turned their attentions away from the forward, and are instead close to securing a potential move for Hull City winger Kamil Grosicki before the window closes, with the Baggies having had an offer accepted for the Poland international, according to Express and Star reporter Joseph Masi.

That would see Grosicki offer a cheaper alternative to Orsic, while the winger also brings more Championship experience and proven ability to perform well in the English second tier, which could be why the Baggies see him as the better option than Orsic who would have commanded a much higher transfer fee.

Some West Brom fans have been suggesting that the Baggies have made the right decision over not signing Orsic, while other have been frustrated that their interest in the 27-year-old now looks unlikely to result in a deal for him.

Here then, we take a look at what West Brom fans have been saying about the prospect of missing out on Orsic on social media…
