QPR slumped to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Barnsley last night and many R's fans were left furious at the decision to replace Albert Adomah with Todd Kane in the second half.

The visitors went behind after just 27 minutes at Oakwell, with Rob Dickie sent off for bringing down Cauley Woodrow in the penalty area and the Tykes striker making no mistake with the subsequent spot-kick.

Connor Chaplin's low effort beat Seny Dieng to double the deficit before half time and then Yoann Barbet's own goal made it three just after the hour mark.

QPR have now gone seven games without a win and a tactical decision made by Mark Warburton early in the second half appears to have left many fans of the west London club livid.

With the R's 2-0 and chasing the game in the 54th minute, Warburton opted to bring off a winger, Adomah, and replace him with a defender, Kane.

It seems a puzzling move given that the visitors needed goals and still had a like-for-like replacement in Chris Willock waiting on the bench at the time.
