Swansea City are heading towards mid-table safety this season with only eight matches of their season remaining, in a campaign that has seen Graham Potter's side flirt with the upper echelons of the Championship without establishing a firm foothold.

For Swans forward Barrie McKay it has been a lacklustre campaign, following his summer move to the Liberty Stadium from Nottingham Forest, that has seen a single goal and four assists in 25 appearances this season.

So what one word best sums up McKay's season at Swansea?

We discuss..........

Jay Taylor

“Disappointment.

“McKay moved to Swansea, and a lot was expected from the attacker.

“But the hype has not been backed up, and after an initially solid start, he has failed to deliver consistently or effectively throughout the campaign.

“Next season he needs to improve significantly if he wants to remain in Potter’s plans.”

Jacob Potter

"Forgetful.

"McKay hasn’t set the world alight with Swansea this season and he needs to perform to a higher standard soon.

"He’s got the quality, he just needs to show that on a more regular basis with Swansea."

Gary Hutchinson

“Disappointing.

“He’s not been as influential as he’d have hoped.

“Swansea have been low key and McKay has just been a part of that.”

Alfie Burns

“Lost.

“He was lost at Nottingham Forest, and honestly, I think he’s lost at Swansea.

“There’s a player in there somewhere, but we just haven’t seen enough of him.”
