Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa brought Patrick Bamford off for Eddie Nketiah at half time during their 1-0 win over Birmingham City, which has drawn a concerned response from some fans of the Yorkshire club.

Kalvin Phillips scored the winner for the Whites in a cagey affair at Elland Road, securing the three points and helping his side climb to second in the Championship.

As with every league game this season, Bamford started upfront for the Whites, however, the 26-year-old was substituted at the break with Nketiah his place.

There has been an on running debate amongst Leeds fans this season about who should be the starting striker, with both players having scored four times this season.

However, Nketiah is yet to start a league game and has played significantly fewer first-team minutes.

The Arsenal loanee has also found the net for Leeds U23s and the England U21s this season, scoring a hat-trick for the latter during the international break.

For the time being, Bielsa appears to see Bamford as his first-choice starting striker but clearly the Argentine coach felt something needed to change at half time against the Blues.

Many Leeds fans appear to feel that the Argentine's decision was not the right one and expressed their thoughts on the team's performance in the absence of Bamford.
