‘Losing tomorrow is not an option’ – Sheffield Wednesday fans look ahead to Norwich City test

Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to consolidate their place in the Sky Bet Championship top-six this weekend, when they face Norwich City at Hillsborough.

After a fantastic start to February, Carlos Carvalhal’s side suffered back-to-back defeats against Brentford and Leeds United, to end last month on a sour note.

Those two defeats have left Wednesday looking over their shoulders in the race for the Play-Offs, with Fulham just five-points behind the Owls and Saturday’s opponents, Norwich trailing by six.

Victory on Saturday would move the Owls nine-points clear of Alex Neil’s side, almost ruling out their chances of making the Sky Bet Championship top-six.

Carvalhal confirmed that Wednesday would once again be without Tom Lees, but hinted that striker Gary Hooper could be close to a first-team return.

Following tomorrow’s clash, the Owls face two teams from the bottom-half of the Championship, Burton Albion and Aston Villa, where they will aim to solidify their place in the Play-Offs.

Ahead of another crucial Championship fixture, here is how Sheffield Wednesday fans are reacting on Twitter…
