As Steve Bruce looks to rebuild his Sheffield Wednesday squad this summer, reports claim that the Owls have made an enquiry for ADO Den Haag winger Sheraldo Becker.

The Sunday Mirror (19/05, page 70) claims that Wednesday, Leeds United and Derby County have made enquiries about the tricky winger, whose contract with the Dutch club expires in the summer.

The 24-year old endured a fine campaign last time out, scoring seven goals and registering a further 10 assists for the Eredivisie outfit, and is now a man in serious demand.

Having let go of the likes of George Boyd and Marco Matias in the summer, it's clear that Bruce wants to add fresh, younger legs to his wide areas, and Becker certainly fits the bill.

Here, we discuss whether he would be a good signing for the Owls...

George Harbey

"This would be a very good signing for Wednesday.

"Becker looks to be a very quick, tricky winger who definitely has end-product when you take a look at his statistics.

"This is an area that needs strengthening, so it would be a very useful addition for Bruce's side."

Toby Wilding

"I could see this being a good signing.

"Wednesday have allowed some of their more experienced attackers to leave at the end of the season, so they will need to be replaced.

"With his pace, determination and eye for goal, Becker could be a good option to fill that role at Hillsborough."

Gary Hutchinson

"I’m not sure this is a great move for them at all.

"I’m never convinced by talent unproven at this level, especially when coming in from abroad.

"Our winters are cold and harsh, those matches against bottom teams a sharp contrast to anywhere else in Europe.

"There’s better players available domestically, in my opinion."

Jacob Potter

"Looks a smart signing to me.

"Becker is a man in form, and it's no surprise to see him attracting interest from a number of Championship clubs at this moment in time.

"Sheffield Wednesday need depth in wide areas, and he'd provide them with that.

"They'll do well to beat the likes of Leeds to signing him though."
