A number of Blackburn Rovers supporters have hailed the impact that Reda Khadra had off the bench as Rovers managed to pick up a 2-0 win against Hull City on Tuesday night.

Tony Mowbray’s side headed into the game hoping to get back to winning ways after they suffered the frustrations of giving up a 2-0 lead against Luton Town on Saturday.

It was vital that Blackburn were able to bounce back from that disappointment and show that they can hold onto leads in matches and secure all three points from strong positions.

Against Hull, Blackburn were able to do that after they finally started to make the most of getting into dangerous positions in the final third in the second period.

One player, in particular, that was able to make a major difference for Rovers was Khadra, with Mowbray bringing the Brighton loanee off the bench for his first Championship appearance for the club on 54 minutes.

Khadra managed to add real quality to proceedings for Blackburn and he was faultless in possession maintaining a 100% passing accuracy whilst he was on the field.

While the 20-year-old also drove at Hull’s backline and completed two successful dribbles to try and make things happen in the final third.

It was an encouraging display from Khadra and it was no surprise to see both of Blackburn’s goals come after his introduction from the bench.

Many Blackburn fans were delighted with what they saw from Khadra on his first appearance in the Championship for Rovers.
