Leeds United's first team's season may have fallen slightly short of their goals but their under-23 side keeps marching on.

Monday night saw Carlos Corberan's much-changed starting XI take on Coventry City's under-23s in the semi-final of the Professional Development League.

The Whites took an early lead through Robbie Gotts with just four minutes on the clock following some excellent work from Jack Clarke and then Izzy Brown in the build-up.

Just before the hour Coventry equalised, but Ryan Edmondson looked to have won the game in the 84th minute when he reacted quickest in the Sky Blues penalty area after Clarke's corner was spilled to tap home.

But they were pegged back again in the third minute of injury time to make the scores 2-2. However, it was to be Leeds' night as Kun Temenuzhkov rifled home an unstoppable winner in the 114th minute.

After the match, he took to Twitter to give his thoughts and the fans were quick to the pile the praise on him...
