Hull have made a brilliant start to the League One campaign following their relegation, and sit top of the league after six matches.

The midweek victory over AFC Wimbledon means the Tigers have now matched their number of league victories in their previous seven games compared to their final 29 in the Championship - collecting 18 points from a possible 21 available.

Grant McCann's men now face perhaps their toughest test of the season when fourth-place Peterborough United travel to the KCOM Stadium on Saturday.

However, it isn't all good news for McCann, who'll be without midfielder Lewie Coyle, after scans on the shoulder injury he suffered Wimbledon on Tuesday showed a tear in his ligaments, which has ruled the defender out for up to six weeks.

The injury forced Coyle to hobble off just 30 minutes into his League One debut, and will see him to miss a number of crucial fixtures for the Tigers.

Quiz: What club did Hull City sign each of these 14 players on loan from?

Coyle has featured just three times for Hull since making the summer switch from Fleetwood - the other two coming in the EFL Cup games against Leeds and West Ham - and City fans were understandably frustrated at the timescale of the problem.
