Being a Fulham fan right now must be so much fun.

Arguably the most exciting teenager in the country is at the club, they're right up there for a Premier League return and they play wonderful football.

If the season were another ten games long, Fulham would likely finish top two.

Their form has been nothing short of sensational, with all of the players working hard and pointing in the same direction.

Whether it is Ryan Fredericks at the back, Ryan Sessegnon wherever he finds himself or Tom Cairney acting as the team's beating heart, they've found a formula that works.

Even if this season they fall short, there's surely every chance they'll be back amongst the top four next campaign also.

The side has been built around a very English spine, even with loan players such as Sheyi Ojo or keeper Marcus Bettinelli. They added talent from other nationalities here and there, Aleksandar Mitrovic perhaps the most effective, but the team has a very English feel to it.

With that in mind, we've scoured the football world to come up with four English players we think would add value to the current Fulham side, be it at the top of the Championship or upon a Premier League return.

The 20-year old has represented his country from U19 to U21 level and has proven himself more than adept in the second tier during his Aston Villa loan spell.

He's reaching an age now where he'll want to feature for his parent club, but can Jose Mourinho offer him the first team chances he's bound to crave?

If not and if Fulham do step up, he'd be a great investment for Slavisa Jokanovic's side. They might just have a few million to invest too if Ryan Sessegnon moves on.

This could be a real life fairy tale, the former Fulham youngster returns when the club reach the top flight to pick up where he left off all those years ago.

Roberts left Craven Cottage in 2015 for a huge fee, but hasn't broken through at the Etihad. He has enjoyed a spell in Scotland with Celtic though and a return to Fulham would see him come full circle.

He wouldn't come cheap though, but as a Premier League club he'd be within reach.

Dack is likely to be hot property this summer and Fulham would be wise to ensure they grab him from Blackburn.

He's a goal scoring midfielder, equally comfortable creating goals as he is scoring them. He's likely to cost a few million, nothing that wouldn't be easily covered by the sale of Sessegnon.

Will the 22-year old ever break through at Chelsea? He's been on the verge of doing so for what seems like an eternity, but he's no closer to playing for them than when he first turned up on their doorstep as a nine-year old in 2005.

He's spent time at Vitesse, Sheffield Wednesday and currently Middlesbrough, but the Luton-born player surely needs some first team action at a club eager to develop him. Fulham would be wise to have a look, he's in danger of being swept away in the wave of other young players going through Chelsea at present, which would be a shame as he has lots of potential.
