Leeds United won't be giving up on key target Daniel James this window, despite him playing and scoring in Birmingham's 3-3 draw with Swansea last night.

Journalist Phil Hay has tweeted that James is still an intended target, but with the clock running down it's going to be a race against time to get a deal done.

Manager Marcelo Bielsa has signed two players this January, keeper Kiko Casilla and Polish teenager Mateusz Bogusz. Hay suggested Bielsa wanted two in, but Bogusz is joining up with the Under 23s and won't be a part of the first team squad.

That leaves one player still on their radar, Swansea's James. Leeds' pursuit of the player is no secret, with Bielsa having a file on his computer all about the 21-year-old.

Can they get the deal over the line in time? these Leeds fans are panicking a bit, debating whether they need a new player and whether or not the transfer policy will come back to haunt them.
