London law firm Mishcon de Reya is suing Championship side Leeds United for£150,000, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

A London law firm are suing Leeds United

The firm say that Leeds are yet to pay up for services provided during 2014 and have started legal proceedings against the West Yorkshire side. The club are yet to make a comment on the situation.

The London firm helped owner Massimo Cellino in his successful appeal last year against the Football League, who tried to prevent him from buying the Whites.

A statement from the firm said: “I can confirm Mishcon de Reya are suing Leeds United for unpaid fees.”

They also helped United slash their monthly spending in May of last year, cutting the £1 million-a-month losses by setting in motion a redundancy strategy.

Leeds meanwhile are hoping to gun for promotion this season, after owner Massimo Cellino revealed that he wants to be in the Premier League within the next two years.
