Ian Evatt's Bolton Wanderers will be looking to build on their 4-1 win over Charlton Athletic in midweek when they welcome Shrewsbury Town to the UniBol on Saturday.

A victory could push the newly promoted Trotters back into the top six as they continue to justify the dark horses tag in League One.

Oladapo Afolayan was as pivotal as ever on Tuesday evening, tormenting Adam Matthews from the first minute to the last, the 24-year-old is constantly adapting his game and it will be interesting to see how the Shrews contend with the threat he poses.

Despite the excellent midweek performance we are predicting that Evatt will make four alterations in pursuit of back to back wins.

Here, then, is our predicted starting XI for Bolton's hosting of Shrewsbury...

The four changes we are foreseeing are: Liam Gordon in for Declan John, George Johnston in for Alex Baptiste, Josh Sheehan in for Kieran Lee and Lloyd Isgrove in for Elias Kachunga.

Gordon replaced John in the 62nd minute on Tuesday evening, it is unclear whether there were any fitness concerns around that substitution. Kieran Lee can count himself unlucky to miss out after scoring two and assisting one in South London but Josh Sheehan has been immense since arriving this summer and has the ability to dictate play against the struggling Shrews.
