Leeds United will be waiting to see Liverpool’s transfer approach which could determine three potential deals involving the Whites.
That’s according to Football Insider, who claim that the Championship leaders are one of several outfits in England and from abroad that are monitoring young striker Rhian Brewster.
The England youth international is reported to be available for a loan move in the New Year and Leeds could be on the lookout for a striker if Arsenal recall Eddie Nketiah in January.
Additionally, the report claims that the Premier League pacesetters will hold talks with James Milner over a new deal and that will determine whether the midfielder returns to Elland Road, as he has previously mentioned.
Finally, Jurgen Klopp’s side are also monitoring current Whites centre-back Ben White, who is on loan from Brighton and has been one of the outstanding performers in the division this season.
Whilst he isn’t set to return to Yorkshire next season, it is presumed that Leeds will try for the player if they win promotion but the chance to join the Champions League holders will appeal.
This just gives a little insight into how complicated transfers can be.
There are so many details that need to fall into place for something to happen and it seems clear here that Leeds’ plans will depend a lot on what Liverpool will do.
In truth though, there’s only the Brewster one that could become an immediate priority though in January, with Milner and White deals that can be revisited in the summer.
