Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in a move for highly-rated Liverpool youngster Sheyi Ojo, according to Express and Star journalist Tim Spiers.
The 18-year-old winger netted in Liverpool’s pre-season win over Swindon Town on Sunday and Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keen for him to gain more valuable first-team experience out on loan.
Ojo played 11 games in the Championship last season for Wigan Athletic and despite some impressive individual performances he was unable to keep the Latics in the league.
The Hemel Hempstead-born player is rated highly by Wolves boss Kenny Jackett and after losing Bakary Sako in the summer is keen to add some width to his squad.
The West Midlands-based Championship club are the ideal team for Ojo to continue his develop with boss Jackett having a habit of giving young players a chance to perform in the first-team fold.
The tricky winger has represented England at every youth level from U-16 to U-19 and his capture could turn out to be a real coup for Wolves.
