Liverpool look set to beat numerous clubs to the signature of Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon, according to a report in the Sunday Express.
Sessegnon is still only 16-years-old, and isn’t due to turn 17 until May, but has turned in some stunning performances for Fulham so far this season.
This form and his overall talent has attracted the interest of a host of clubs including Chelsea and Manchester United, however, it appears now Liverpool are the team who will seal the deal for the talented midfielder.
Sessegnon, who has great versatility to his game in that he can play in midfield or up front, is one of the most exciting young talents to emerge from the Championship in recent years, and Jurgen Klopp would be delighted to sign one of the game’s top young players.
The report claims Fulham will seek to take Sessegnon back on on loan if he is signed by a Premier League club, where the Whites will hope to continue his development at Craven Cottage.
