Liverpool, Everton, Hull City and Sunderland are all eyeing a January move for Blackpool's 18-year-old striker Dom Telford, according to Goal.

Telford scored his first goal for the Tangerines against Rotherham on December 28th, and the highly-rated forward is now the subject of interest from clubs from the top-flight.

The Burnley-born striker has been at Blackpool his whole career and has made two appearances for Lee Clark's side this season.

Telford was renowned for scoring exquisite goals in the Blackpool youth team, and he was nominated twice for the League Football Education's goal of the month competition, the second being a sublime 35-yard chip against Liverpool in June last year.

A source close to the Lee Clark's side told Goal: "The club are worried, they know there is a lot of interest in Dom and it is going to be hard to keep him."

The promising striker would certainly need to mature and develop as footballer before going straight into the first-team of a Barclays Premier League team.

However, there are evident signs that the youngster as an abundance of talent and ability and it would be no surprise to see the striker appear in the Premier League in the years to come.

Blackpool currently sit rock-bottom of the Sky Bet Championship table, having accumulated a mere 14 points from 24 league games.

The Tangerines have won only one game in their last 10 Championship games, having beat Birmingham City at Bloomfield Road 1-0 on the 6th December.

Lee Clark faces a colossal task of keeping the Seaside club in the division, and losing Telford in the January window could certainly impact any chances they have of staying up and beating the dreaded drop.
