The January transfer window remains well over a month away from opening but it seems as though the rumour mill is beginning to pick up a bit of pace.
What sides do in the winter window could impact the rest of their campaign and with things tight at the top of the Premier League, recruitment needs to be nailed.
However, the latest Teamtalk report is suggesting that all of the big six clubs have one eye on the future with them taking a closer look at in-form youngster Vilius Piliukaitis at Blackburn.
The young forward is only 17-years-old but has impressed during his short spell at Rovers since moving there on a loan deal in the summer.
And, though, the Ewood Park club have the option to make things permanent it is also thought Liverpool and Manchester United are leading the Premier League’s big six to try and take him away.
He’s a good young player and is in form so you can see why the big boys might be interested.
He’s got to think where will be best for his progression, though, and it might well be at Blackburn if they can offer him a clearer route to first-team action.
