Liverpool man set for potential Anfield exit, Championship side weighing up deal

Wigan Athletic have been linked with a move for Liverpool’s 28-year-old Hungarian goalkeeper Adam Bogdan, according to Goal.com.

Following the arrival of Loris Karius and Jurgen Klopp explicitly backing Liverpool’s contentious goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, it appears that Adam Bogdan’s future at the club is in jeopardy.

Adam Bogdan joined Liverpool from Bolton Wanderers but has only managed to make 6 appearances for Liverpool and only two of which was in the Premier League, which makes it appear that his career at Liverpool will continue to be stop start.

As Adam Bogdan continues to drop down the ranks potentially to fourth choice behind Simon Mignolet, Loris Karius and Danny Ward,  Bogdan may opt to leave on a temporary basis in pursuit of regular first team football.

Bodgan’s best chance of that is to drop down a division with newly promoted Wigan Athletic reportedly keen on bringing in the Hungarian goalkeeper on a season long loan.

Jurgen Klopp may opt to loan both Danny Ward who is linked with Huddersfield Town and Adam Bogdan who is now linked with Wigan Athletic.

Wigan Athletic fans, how do you feel about the news? Would you like to see Adam Bogdan join your club? Is the goalkeeping position, a position that needs strengthening? Do you think Adam Bogdan would be a good signing or is there better out there, if so, who? Let us hear your thoughts and opinions in the comment section below!
