Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham is attracting interest from a host of elite clubs around Europe, including Champions League holders Liverpool.

The 16-year-old has been a major positive for Pep Clotet's side this season, scoring two winning goals in his past three outings.

Therefore, his performances have caught the eye and 90min are reporting that Jurgen Klopp's side are very interested in the Blues man and could even look to complete a deal for the teenager ahead of the January window.

However, it wouldn't be straightforward for the Premier League leaders as the report also claims that Manchester City, Arsenal, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are monitoring Bellingham.

The youngster played 61 minutes for Blues this afternoon as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Preston and he couldn't add to his two goals for the campaign.

As well as impressing for the Championship side, Bellingham has shone for the England youth teams and is regarded as one of the most exciting talents at his age in the country.

The verdict

Realistically, most Blues fans will know that they are going to have a real battle to keep hold of the player and this sort of interest is inevitable given his recent performances.

Ultimately, it will be down to the player though and he has resisted offers in the past. So, the fact he is playing in the first-team may convince him that he should stay at St. Andrew's for the next few years.

But, it would be incredibly hard to turn down any of the clubs mentions, so it will be interested to see how this plays out and you can't imagine it will be the last time he is linked with a move away.
