Liverpool are in talks with Bolton regarding Bogdan

The 27-year-old is out-of-contract at the end of next month and has yet to agree to a new deal at the Macron Stadium.

Trotters boss Neil Lennon has let the club's other stopper Andy Lonergan leave the club when his contract expires and now he may be set to lose both senior goalkeepers.

Bogdan caught the eye of Reds manager Brendan Rodgers with an impressive display in an FA Cup tie between the two clubs at Anfield in January.

Scouts from German sides Stuttgart and Hannover have been to watch the Hungarian international throughout the season and there is also interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

It was reported that Bolton rejected a £1.2 million bid last summer from German club Mainz, who are also still keen on signing Bogdan.
